USDA Organic Xylitol

Xylitol (CAS:87-99-0) is a naturally-occurring 5-Carbon Polyol Sugar Substitute. It is found in the fibers of many fruits and vegetables, and is also produced by the human body itself.
Xylitol is absorbed more slowly than sugar, which may play a small role in the prevention and management of diabetes. Studies show that Xylitol may also inhibit Cavities.
