USDA Organic IMO Fiber

IMO Stands for Isomaltooligosaccharide. IMO Fiber is a mixture of short-chain carbohydrates and has a digestion-resistant property. Isomalto-oligosaccharides are a normal part of the human diet and occur naturally in fermented foods – such as rice miso, soy sauce, and sake. IMO can be a sweet-tasting (high-density) syrup, or spray-dried into powder form.

IMO is a multi-functional molecule which, in some studies, has shown to exert positive effects on human digestive health. It can act as a prebiotic, decrease flatulence, has a low glycemic index, and prevent dental caries.

Our IMO Fiber is USDA Organic Certified, and is available in conventional form.
